Modular software optimises the logistics for heterogeneous goods

An essential prerequisite for efficient logistics and thus for significantly lower costs, is the optimum utilisation of the transport storage space. This applies for pallets as well as for containers and freight containers or HGVs.

For optimising the logistics for heterogeneous goods, Multiscience has developed the modular software MultiMix. MultiMix consists of three modules for optimising the storage space with heterogeneous products. These modules can either be used separately or combined according to specific requirements. Europe-wide, numerous companies are already using the individual MultiMix modules, which are available for all Windows systems. But Multiscience can also implement solutions for other platforms.

Without the help of high-performance software, it is neither possible to plan logistic capacities nor to optimise loads. Instead, expensive storage room is wasted. In contrast, the MultiMix modules – individually or combined with each other – enable well-founded storage space planning and a significantly higher utilisation of space in containers, on pallets and in freight containers or HGVs.
